| Matthew Dullea is the earliest known ancestor in
the part of the family lineage. He was born in or about County Cork, Ireland,
the exact date and year unknown, but presumably about 1760. He married a Kate
Reagan, presumably Katherine. His marriage to Kate brought him the title,
"Lord of Inchafune", which lies in West County Cork, within the Civil
Parrish of Ballymoney, near Enniskeane, between Bandon and Dunmanway. Kate was
called, "Kate the Rider", because of her time spent riding horses and
was apparently quite adept at equestrian skills
They had a son named Dennis. At this time it is not known if
there were any other offspring and Dennis may have been born in the 1780's.
No other info on Matthew or Kate at the present time.
