As a service to family history researchers,
we are providing documents in PDF (Portable Document Files) from
various orders or letters that contain names of personnel within
organizations that my father served with, as these are copies that
he saved from his military career.
Many of those that served during World War II did
not talk much about the war, so family members may lack information
on their father, grandfather, or other family member of his war
service. To obtain records for military archives, information that
is needed includes Army Service Number (ASN), Unit or Organization
of Assignment, and dates of service.
The various documents listed here may help with
that information, so that researchers can use as an aid in obtaining
records. We are always looking for more documents, like those
