Mom became a riviter at the Dodge
Main plant in Detroit, MI. during the war and quit upon Dad's
return. After the war, they had 4 daughters (Penny, Debbie,
Kathy, and Patty.
They resided in Detroit until
their respective deaths. Dad (Clarence K.) passed away May 30,
1973 (Lung Cancer), and Mom (Jeannette) passed away March 27,
1978 (Kidney failure).

After the war, he became a street
car / bus driver and later was promoted to City Inspector for
The Detroit Streets and Railways. He was a wonderful man, who
loved his family, respected his country, and treasured his
friendships. They now have 10 grandchildren (1 deceased) and 2
great-grandchildren. My sisters and I keep the memory of our
parents and the service they both provided to this country
vividly alive in our children's minds.
